PhD Studentships

EdQual funds or supports more than a dozen PhD studentships attached to our large scale
research projects.

Most were offered to academic staff of our African member institutions. This is part of our capacity building strategy to develop these institutions into centres of excellence in education quality.

Well-experienced supervisors were teamed with academics with little experience of supervising so the number of staff able to supervise PhDs relating to education quality will also rise across our member institutions.
